The U-Man project is an experiment in the encyclopedic classification of homo sapiens nature. In a bare setting, only an elementary light seems necessary to the study of bodies. The rhythm of the sequential and compulsive editing captures the vibrations of a complex organism and dissects the motion, mental and nervous activities with high precision. Nevertheless, the infinite variations of an altered system of representation cast a shadow on our knowledge of human attitude.The graphical elements used to describe medical descriptions loose all consistency; scientific typography and illustrations come to life and liberate themselves. Blood starts flowing, pupils dilate, beads of sweat form on the two bodies coming to life. The frontier between organic activity and behavioral attitudes disappears. U-Man is sexed.
