St. Nicholas’ Day at the Ars Electronica Center
Our littlest visitors are in for a big thrill on December 6th when jolly ol’ St. Nick pays a call on the Ars Electronica Center. Highlight tours and a lot of surprises are in store for our younger guests.
On December 6th between 2 and 5 PM, St. Nicholas will drop in on the Museum of the Future! This promises to be quite an eventful afternoon: the special lineup features a highlight tour of the new exhibits, a few seasonal surprises and kiddie cocktails in the SKY Cafe.
While the kids are having fun, their adult chaperones are free to spend a pleasant respite overlooking downtown Linz in SKY or to join one of the Museum tours that are included with the price of admission as our way of saying Happy Holidays.
And to top off this very special day, the Ars Electronica Center invites visitors to take a walk-through tour of a virtual manger. This crèche designed by Linz elementary school pupils doesn’t leave you standing out in the cold; you experience it from the inside in 3D with the Three Wise Men right at your side!
