St. Valentine’s Day at the Ars Electronica Center
Calling all lovers! The Ars Electronica Center and several other Linz museums have a lovely program lined up for the day that celebrates love.
How about an intimate rendezvous in the Museum of the Future during Valentine’s Week (February 14-17, 2008)? At the chic-o-mat installation, couples can blend their portraits together, and then take home a picture cube as a little keepsake of the occasion.
Where did you meet the love of your life? Where’d you go on your first date? Share your most heartwarming love stories with us and reveal the most romantic places for lovers in Linz. It’s easy—just submit a digital posting to "Wikimap – The Dating Game in Linz"! Our expert Infotrainers will assist you in creating your portrait.
And what if you can’t hook up with your sweetheart on the big day? Then you can still create your own virtual world with the two of you in the leading roles and send a picture of it to your baby via e-mail. Of course, couples can also collaborate on the creation of their own personal world and e-mail a visual memento of it to their own addresses.
Free tours through the exhibits are offered Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM and 2 PM.
