The SKY Media Loft Café & Bar in the ARS ELECTRONICA CENTER—following a complete makeover and now freely accessible direct from the street without a museum admission ticket—offers everything from nightlife to a relaxing café ambience. It’s also a great spot for breakfast meetings or to get together for a drink after work.
Linz (September 19, 2003). Uniquely situated above the Linz cityscape and featuring a superb panoramic view of the Danube, the SKY Media Loft Café & Bar is one of the best locations in town. The spectrum of culinary offerings has something for every taste and every time of day. Breakfast and relaxing afternoon coffee are a big part of the mix; so are exotic cocktails and hot DJ nights.
Even the elevator ride up to SKY is an attraction in its own right, featuring the Prix Ars Electronica 2003 prizewinning installation “Flow in a Lift” that takes passengers on a journey to a virtual world while they’re being whisked up to enjoy one of the great offerings the SKY Media Loft Café & Bar has on tap day and night:

The museum café’s special breakfast menu is the way to get your day off to a great start. From croissants and classic Austrian Kaiser rolls to fruit muesli or ham and eggs, the café caters to every appetite, and there’s also a Kid’s Breakfast for our younger guests.

No problem at the SKY Media Loft! We’re a fully equipped, state-of-the-art Kaffeehaus featuring a delightfully relaxed ambience and superb panoramic views of Linz and the Danube.
Nightlife
On the weekend, SKY Media Loft is the place to go for night people in the know. A great selection of exotic cocktails and a super line-up of DJ events (staged in cooperation with FM4) provide just the right mix for partying and dancing the night away.
