“#tweetscapes” by UdK students Barri (NL) and Nehls (DE) transforms all German-language tweets into abstract sounds—as real-time sonification
of what’s happening in the German Twitter scene and as an interactive, collective composition by German-speaking Twitter users. The tweets are
made audible according to a strict set of rules, whereby an algorithm generates a characteristic sound for any conceivable topic.
