Hetherington Stephen (UK)

Stephen Hetherington (UK) is Chairman of HQ Theatres and a founder of the OHMI Trust. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music, playing the trumpet with a number of the UK’s leading orchestras, before moving on to produce theatre, opera, ballet and orchestras across the world with his partner Joseph Seelig. Stephen has acted as a consultant for the development of a variety of cultural buildings, operations and events, including the development of Britain’s largest Lottery funded project (£106 million), *The Lowry*.  He directed Birmingham’s Bid for European Capital of Culture in 2002 and is currently completing a PhD in Political Science at Birmingham University, UK.
