(Linz, May 11, 2009) ARS INTRINSICA focuses on forms and structures of the human organism and of inanimate objects. Large-format prints reveal kaleidoscopic worlds of imagery that seem to be products of an artist’s imagination but have actually been captured live by hightech equipment. Scientific techniques such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging now being used in medical-radiological diagnostics generate mathematical visualizations that are then artistically recontextualized.
