(Linz, December 9, 2014) Following up on last year’s very successful collaboration, Ars Electronica Linz has once again been invited to provide artistic projects to be featured at ITU Telecom World 2014. This presentation entitled The Lab is a collection of 16 works dealing with various aspects of our networked world. The annual ITU Telecom World conclaves bring together representatives of a wide array of public and private sector organizations to discuss the future of the telecommunications industry. This year’s ITU Telecom World will be held December 7-10 in Doha.
The Lab: 4 Focal-point Themes and 16 Works
An approximately 200-m2 exhibition space has been made available to Ars Electronica at this year’s ITU Telecom World. It will be the setting for 16 art projects grouped into four thematic clusters: better and fairer coexistence; thinking about and striving to come up with alternatives; design with a (social) message; and the arbitrariness of systems.
