In going about this, the principle of interaction was expanded into comprehensive participation. In designing exhibits and getting material across, the accent is placed on the shared presence of artistic and scientific pursuits. The substantive focus is on the life sciences. Ten years later, the Ars Electronica Center is reinventing itself once again: from the end of May 2019, “Compass – Navigating the Future” will offer a guide to man-made systems in the 21st century.
