Saturday & Sunday, July 21-22, 2012 / 10 AM-6 PM / Ars Electronica Center
(Linz, July 19, 2012) DNA, life’s most sophisticated blueprint, will be the star of Science Days on the weekend of July 21-22 in the Ars Electronica Center. Visitors will learn how a human being’s unique genetic makeup in constructed and how scientists go about analyzing it. There will also be opportunities to isolate your own DNA, and find out how plants multiply and pass on their genetic code.
BioLab
There’s a lot to discover at the Ars Electronica Center’s BioLab. State-of-the-art microscopes provide glimpses into worlds that are usually hidden from the naked eye. Plus, fascinating workshops offer ideal settings for do-it-yourself experiments like cloning plants, investigating cells and analyzing your own DNA.
