Science Days: “Out of Control”

(Linz, October 10, 2012) At the next Science Days on October 13-14, 2012, specialists on the staff of the Department of Secure Information Systems at the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences’ Hagenberg Campus will explain what information about internet users is being stored in conjunction with telecommunications data retention, how you can protect your smartphone from undesirable incursions, and how restoring lost computer data works. Finally, tours through the “Out of Control” exhibition show what steps people can take to better protect their privacy online.
