For Seniors: Come Closer! When Technology Approaches Our Body

(Linz, November 29, 2012) Every first and third Friday of the month, the Ars Electronica Center offers themed tours designed with seniors in mind. On November 2 & 16, visitors will learn some amazing things about imaging and diagnostic procedures involving microscopes, magnetic resonance technology and DNA analysis.
Biolab
There’s a lot to discover at the Ars Electronica Center’s BioLab. State-of-the-art microscopes provide glimpses into worlds that are usually hidden from the naked eye. Plus, fascinating workshops offer ideal settings for do-it-yourself experiments like cloning plants, investigating cells and analyzing your own DNA.
