Deep Space LIVE: A Smile Travels around the World

(Linz, February 12, 2013) “Bring a smile to our world” is the motto of a globe-spanning project by Linz photographer Florian Holter. For two years now, he’s been traveling the world and documenting how people react when, in the midst of everyday life, they encounter someone wearing a red clown nose. At the next Deep Space LIVE on Thursday, February 14, Florian Holter will give an account of his experiences and present a selection of his most amusing, off-beat images.

Since 2005, Linz native Florian Holter has worked as a free-lance photographer in Austria and abroad for an impressive list of clients. His photo reportages have appeared in such top-name magazines as Whiteout, Snow-Extreme and Playboard. Holter’s front-page photo for Kupfermuckn was honored as best street paper cover in 2011, the same year he launched his “Bring a smile to our world” project that has passed out 2,000 red noses to people all over the world so far.
