POSTCITY

POSTCITY is the hub of the festival. The Austrian Postal Service’s mothballed logistics facility on the grounds of the downtown train station provides a total of 80,000 square meters of space on five levels. Your festival tour proceeds from the rooftop vantage point to the basement bomb shelter, and from one inspiring futuristic idea to the next!

SUN Sept. 9, 2018, the Bunker and the roof top closes at 6 PM (last entry for the bunker and the roof top is 30 minutes before the exhibition closes). Parts of POSTCITY will remain open in the evening: Trainhall: on Thursday, September 6 from 7:30 PM in conjunction with the Ars Electronica Opening; the POSTCITY Nightline on Friday 7 from 8 PM and the Big Concert Night on Sunday, September 9 from 6:30 PM. The Info and Accreditation Desk, the Ticket Counter, the Press Office and the WE GUIDE YOU meeting point at Ars Electronica 2018 are located in POSTCITY.
