St. Mary’s Cathedral

Our broad basis of cooperations with the City of Linz enables us to stage events at unusual venues, which has come to be a defining feature of the Ars Electronica Festival. One of the absolute favorites over the past several years has been St. Mary’s Cathedral, the largest ecclesiastical space in Austria. The huge interactive projection sculpture LightTank from New Zealand and the performance The Bien from Austria are using the impressive sacred space of the church for their art this year.
