DomFrauen

Katholische Frauenbewegung OÖ (AT)

About 30 women – from various backgrounds, professions, of various ages and of various religious faith – in search for their own special spot in the Linzer Mariendom. The art-project DomFrauen visualizes faith and religious belief in a female perspective by opening and creating spaces of encounter and of exchange of ideas. The DomFrauen chose individually manufactured headgears (designed and manufactured by Susanne Dullinger) as distinguishing mark and unifying element, representing and pointing out the female approach and perspective.

The objective of the project DomFrauen is getting to know the Dom as a place of encounter, contemplation, creativity and self-empowerment. The DomFrauen create space by telling stories and by inviting spectators to tell their stories.
