The critically acclaimed musical Lazarus by Enda Walsh, with music and lyrics by David Bowie, is currently adapted by the Landestheater Linz and the Ars Electronica Futurelab, and will premiere on September 27th at the Musiktheater Linz.
This talk by Johannes von Matuschka (director), Christoph Rufer (stage design), and the Ars Electronica Futurelab will give insights on the collaboration and present a glimpse of Walsh’s piece, set in new clothing of simplistic design with heavy use of contemporary media art. Moreover, the visitors will get a first impression of the musical’s visual style.
