Energy Solution / Water Resources demonstrates the relationship between water resources and geopolitical zones of conflict. On display are not direct national zones of influence but rather transnational ecological zones of dependence. Peter Fend tracks down hidden global interconnections related to the subject of water resources and energy, and puts them into a direct artistic context replete with political-military, geohistorical and scientific aspects. This work also sketches — in a way that is typical of Fend—approaches to solutions.
