Naut Humon: Digital Musics Jury Member

For over 20 years creator, curator and conductor Naut Humon (USA) has been staging underground events which have inverted and blurred the roles of audience and participant.

In 1999 the former category of Computer Music has been changed into 'Digital Musics'. One the driving forces behind this redesign has been Naut Humon, founder of Asphodel Records. Involved in music and conceptual performance since the mid-sixties, he was founding member of the ground- breaking electronic band Rhythm&Noise. In 1992 he founded Sound Traffic Control in order to focus on using an orchestral setting to explore three-dimensional space. His main interest lies outside the studio, in creating what he calls 'large multimedia events featuring innovative creations such as live turntablists or laptop computer 'orchestras' of dozens of musicians playing before synchronous visual collages.'
