'I am interpreting the notion of 'operated by art' to mean that the intentions or ideas of artistic efforts drive or initiate social and political awareness and changes. I am interested in how artists develop strategic initiatives, and maintain the integrity and coherence of their specific initiatives. Artists design kinds of operating systems, which permit them to channel and control their intents and objectives through complex cooperative channels of action.

This symposium is not only a forum for describing artistic work, but for revealing individual methodologies for shaping, launching, and guiding projects for maximum impact and effect.
