dear participants and discussants of the mailing list,
it is terrible quite now on the list , i hope this is only the
indication of the black hole of summer holidays and not asign that no
one wants to post and discuss about life sciences anymore.


Now i am going to repeat parts of my beginning statement to broaden the
discussion
to another point of representation of life science in popular culture:

Against the myth created by the industrial complex of life sciences,
mankind
is still not at the point to be totally entangled in the structure of
his genes
that tell the whole story  about every individual. Genes as the
microstructure
of the body are embedded in a social context consisting for example of
social
relations or nutritition factors which influence the human
genome system.

I hope no one is upset
