Yukiko Shikata is an independent curator/critic based in Tokyo. She has curated many media art exhibitions and projects, including at Canon ARTLAB where she worked as a co-curator(1990 - 2001). She is an editorial advisor of 'ART AsiaPacific'(Australia), guest curator of Shiseido CyGnet, curatorial committee member of eyebeam (NY), International Advisory Board member of Transmediale (Berlin), advisor of YCAM (Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media).
