Hidden Worlds
2002
Digital data and information flows constantly envelope us like a second environment—a simultaneous data sphere that remains hidden from us if we lack the proper technical tools. How can we shape this cyperspace and what traces do we leave behind.
The “Hidden Worlds” projects take a playful approach to this imaginary and secret world of bits and bytes. Augmented reality technologies are utilized to create aesthetic and sensory observatories for the perception of these virtual realities.
Curator: Gerfried Stocker Exhibition Coordinators: Gerold Hofstadler, Ines Ruttner, Ellen Fethke Exhibition Architect: Scott Ritter
