Get in Touch
2001
Get in Touch is an exhibition about the interfaces between man and machine. Imparting a physical form to digital information and enabling users to directly perceive and manipulate data are the creative challenges taken up by these projects. The essence of their design task is communication with and by means of digital technologies.
This exhibition showcases innovative work from Europe, the US and Japan—“intelligent objects” whose aim is to break down the hard and fast boundary separating the physical from the digital and to create a seamless interface at the nexus of human beings, bits and atoms.
