Visualization of the underground tunnel for the expressway

The Bindermichl neighborhood has one of the worst noise problems in Linz. To reduce the noise level from 85 dB, it was decided to construct an underground tunnel for the nearby expressway. In a project commissioned by the City of Linz, CAVE visitors can experience (and hear) actual noise levels as well as those projected following completion of the tunnel.
