Learnstation
Learning and Teaching with Computers

1996

The computer is of use not only for personal education at home, but also for instruction in schools.

In the day-to-day reality of contemporary classroom instruction, the computer either has a very limited presence or it occupies the center of attention in a dedicated computer laboratory.

"Learnstation" takes up the middle ground between these two extremes, and also challenges the prejudice that the computer can be employed for instructional purposes only in the fields of mathematics and the natural sciences.

The "Learnstation" proves that it has a place in the media repertoire in virtually all subjects, and can enrich and enliven the instruction. It makes available state-of-the-art learning and teaching software covering a broad spectrum of subjects, and the programs have been designed to be equally suitable for instruction in schools or continuing education at home.
