Imaginations of Town

Urban imaginings—processes of limning and illuminating the historical and socio-cultural dimensions, architectural developments and visionary components of Linz’s cityscape via their juxtaposition to impressions of other metropolitan areas—are provided with an online setting by WikiMap Linz.

Some of the efforts that have emerged from the initial phase of this joint work-in-progress being carried out by students in a number of different majors at Linz’s University of Art under the supervision of Prof. Johannes Wegerbauer will be presented beginning January 13, 2006 in the Ars Electronica Center and, of course, on the WikiMap.
