"FOG PAINTING" transforms feelings into light-pictures. Julius Lugmayr won an Award of Distinction in the Prix Ars Electronica’s u19 – freestyle computing category for young people with this installation.

For his project, Lugmayr registered various impressions of things like physical objects and landscapes and loaded them to the installation. "FOG PAINTING" changes them into rays of light and makes the feelings behind these images visible as light sculptures.

Here, a projector replaces the paintbrush, color is provided by light, and fog serves as the canvas.
