Translator II: Grower is a small vehicle that wanders to and fro along the walls of a room and detects carbon dioxide by means of a digital CO2 sensor. It reacts to the current level of CO2 by drawing grass of varying height in green ink on the walls. The height of the lines that it draws as a reaction to the reading corresponds to the CO2 level and thus to the pedestrian traffic within the room. Just as grass in nature needs CO2 to grow, the drawn grass depends on the exhaled breath of those that are observing its growth.
