I wish to announce that in connection with the commercial introduction of my inventions I shall render professional services in the general capacity of consulting electrician and engineer. The near future, I expect with confidence, will be a witness of revolutionary departures in the production, transformation and transmission of energy, transportation, lighting, manufacture of chemical compounds, telegraphy, telephony and other arts and industries.
In my opinion, these advances are certain to follow from the universal adoption of high-potential and high frequency currents and novel regenerative processes of refrigeration to very low temperatures.
Much of the old apparatus will have to be improved, and much of the new developed, and I believe that while furthering my own inventions, I shall be more helpful in this evolution by placing at the disposal of others the knowledge and experience I have gained. Special attention will be given by me to the solution of problems requiring both expert information and inventive resource – work coming within the sphere of my constant trailing and predilection.
I shall undertake the experimental investigation and perfection of ideas, methods and appliances, the devising of useful expedients and in particular, the design and construction of machinery for the attainment of desired results. Any task submitted to and accepted by me, will be carried out thoroughly and conscientiously.
Nikola Tesla, January 1, 1904 SOLAR is conceived as a continuation of the research and creation processes which have started during the first phase of the Makrolab project in the summer of 1997 dealing with direct interception and mapping of telecommunications in the whole em spectrum. SOLAR is part of the wardenclyffe project series, which is an open end collaboration between the artists and engineers of Projekt Atol (Slovenia – USA) and Rastermusic (D). Up to now five Wardenclyffe projects were held at different locations. SOLAR is an EM receiving and transmitting engine and real-time system which is receiving, processing, recording, producing and retransmitting analogue and digital signals present in the spectrum. it ranges from VLF to microwave and beyond. SOLAR is a process in time dedicated to the spirit of Nikola Tesla and all those of his kind, whose dreams were never materialised.
Wardenclyffe is a town on Long Island (New York), where Nikola Tesla established an experimental station for so-called "world telegraphy". This system was supposed to create the possibility of wireless transmission of energy to any place in the world. It was also supposed to function as a worldwide communication station. The project was never fully finished and was given up on and torn down for lack of money after six years.

RAYLAB I. could be described as a low budget signals processing and interpreting work post. it is meant to be an educational and experimental tool set up for the purpose of building awareness of immaterial events and the mapping of information and data flows present in the EM spectrum. the INSULAR TECHNOLOGIES secure HF voice and data suite will be unveiled during the RAYLAB I. operations.
