High Technology of Amechania

Art no longer seems to fit into the attire of fine arts. The borderlines between the genres, toward the sciences and philosophy are getting blurred. Is there any other approach toward art than that of nominalism and sociology?
Sometimes you make headway by going back. I, therefore, would like to lay open the older layer of liberal arts behind the fine arts and then to take up the term techné and its environment. Here I am interested mainly in the inclusion of failure, of the ability lacking(amechania, aporia) in art, science, and philosophy (techné, mechané).
