Independant consultant with experience in over 30 countries in Africa assisting in the establishment of information and communications systems during the last 15 years; member of South African Ministry of Education Standards & Protocols Committee on use of ICTs in education.

Michel Mavros/Senegal. Technical director of the first Internet Provider of Subsahara Africa, “Metissacana”, in Dakar.

Birama Diallo/Mali. Responsible for the “Télécentre Communautaire de Tombouctou”, a project launched by UNESCO to stimulate rural development by facilitating access to new information and communication technologies (ICTs).

Keith Goddard/Zimbabwe. Human rights activist; member of “Tonga.Online”, a project on media, information & communication technology and art focusing on the Tonga people in the remote Zambezi Valley bordering Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Lisa Goldman-Carney/USA. Together with Youssou N’Dour founder of the Internet project “Joko”, a project that offers Internet access and training to African people.

Dominic Muntanga/Zimbabwe. Director of “Bwaaca Trust”, whose mission is to promote international understanding and the cultural heritage of the Batonga people; member of the “Tonga.Online” project.
