INSTAR
2003
INSTAR ('Information and Navigation Systems Through Augmented Reality') is Augmented Reality for everyday life, an innovative concept for automobile navigation. Directly overlaying the actual view of the road with graphic navigation data enables motorists to enjoy simple, intuitive orientation without having to take their eyes off the road in order to view the navigation screen. Thanks to this special technology, a wide variety of additional information can also be integrated into the video display.
