Ars Electronica Center Exhibition Opening
Ars Electronica Center Exhibition Opening
2001
In the five years of its existence, the Ars Electronica Center has proved to be a successful realization of the idea of introducing artistic works as catalysts in processes of social development and transformation. This interaction and overlapping of artistic and technological work also characterizes the new exhibits.
The Museum of the Future presents new projects on all of the Center’s levels. An important highlight is the exhibit Get in Touch, which, among other features, showcases a representative sampling of works by Hiroshi Ishii’s Tangible Media Group (MIT Medialab). In a lecture presentation, Hiroshi Ishii will elaborate on the scientific and artistic aspects of these works.
