TGarden

TGarden, a prototypical example of ways in which artists work today and the issues they face, functions at the intersection of a multiplicity of social worlds: institutionally-based knowledge production, techno-scientific research, art and performance. The installation is both a “responsive environment” in which participants can move about in playful fashion and a method to conceive and build such environments. A new kind of game space? A club? All of these are thoroughly conceivable trajectories for TGarden. Ars Electronica presents *one* micro-manifestation of this project.

Collaborating artists/designers/researchers: Cynthia Bohner-Vloet, Maja Kuzmanovic, Ozan Cakmakci, Steven Pickles, Cocky Eek, Joel Ryan, Laura Farabough, Christopher Salter, Nik Gaffney, Sha Xin Wei, Evelina Kusaite, Yifan Shi, Peggy Jacobs, Dave Tonessen, Marchel van Doorn
