Female Takeover is a confrontation with the new demands of communication technologies, new ways of ensuring ones livelihood, and new behavioral patterns in a changing social structure. What could a Takeover mean for female artists? What could a Takeover for and by female artists mean?
Can the methods of young female artists of Generation f be compared to those of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s? Do the transformation of conventional media realities, their influence on artistic creation, and the origination of fictive and real identities comprise the cluster within which new strategies/concepts are taking shape and developing?
