Hybrid Playground
Lalalab – Clara Boj and Diego Díaz in collaboration with Martin Nadal (ES)
Hybrid Playground transforms video games into a collaborative recreational zone. Artists outfit the playground devices with network-linked sensors that collect information about the children’s games and send it on to a game engine. Information about game status and each player’s next objective are transmitted via an RFID armband and a PDA.
