Balloon Guy / Tuber's Two Step
Chris Wedge


America-born Chris Wedge came to computer graphics via puppet animation. He is interested in the creation of three-dimensional imaginary worlds, hitherto existing only in one's imagination. Chris Wedge understands the computer as an important link between these worlds and our reality.

Collaborator of MAGI/Synthavision, which realized parts of Disney's electronic production "Tron" in 1980. Since 1984 study at Ohio State University's Computer Graphics Research Institute. Since graduation in 1986 he teaches history of animation projects as "artist in residence". Chris Wedge won a series of international prizes and awards for his works.

The works were realized on a VAX 11/780 computer, a Mark 1I 32-bit frame buffer, Symbolics 3670 and/or Evans and Sutherland PS 300 and in-house software.
