'Diabolic Wife' is a satirical poem about male dominance. Compelled by his lust for a woman, a devil creates a fragmented wife by juxtaposing various parts of animals on her, oblivious to all but his own carnal needs. The devil symbolizes a typical male chauvinistic pig. The 'wife' represents the generally subordinate position of women in society at large. 'Diabolic Wife' is more a foray into dynamic storytelling than it is a sombre social commentary.
The computer, as I perceive it, serves as a tool or medium of expression. In the case of animation, the computer enables many experiments and technical wonders at the early stage of conception and exploration itself. I have discovered that not only does the computer aid in the tedium of 3D animation in modelling, motion scripting and rendering, but also enhances one's perception of design and proportion, stimulating the artist to explore new dimensions and see his/her own work in a new light.
