As you may already know, I am attending a technical secondary school, an HTL with an emphasis on computers. So also in my spare time I talk with my friends about computers, and sometimes printers, too. One day I just had to remark that my printer made such funny noises.

It wasn’t long till I had the idea to record the sound. No sooner said than done. I went over to my computer. The first problem was a track for the background, the drums. A few hours fiddling with "DTd Drum Station" and I had the background.

Then I had to print out some document and leave the mike on. Nothing easier than that. Afterwards, I picked out and copied the right parts and put them together, intuitively. I mixed in a bit of drums and everything fit. Just then my mother walked into the room, heard it and said—like last time—I should send it in to u19.
