Overcast is a computer game like Bomberman. My friend Alex (who I’ve never actually met because he lives in Germany) and I have been working on this game for some months now—it is our very first.
The idea was mine and I was looking for people who would want to help me, when suddenly Alex (who knew nothing of my plans) got in touch and asked me if I wanted to join the team he had just formed. Because I had known him for so long, I immediately agreed. We named our team “Metrax”, and Overcast—our first game—was in the making. After a few weeks, we were suddenly informed that the name Metrax was already taken and so we renamed ourselves “fallenstudios” and immediately secured www.fallenstudios.de.

Soon we faced other problems: none of us knew how to do modeling or how to do the textures for the characters. We got really close to giving up, but then we found two modelers who were happy to do the characters for us and so we could continue. Overcast is still in the demo stage and it might be a while till it is really finished.
