The idea behind TNSP is to generate sounds or music for pure pleasure and to distribute these via the medium of the Internet for non-commercial purposes. TNSP is the art of creating art at no cost. "Draft 5" that was particularly distinguished by the jury was not actually a "serious" production, but was just intended to prove to a friend how fast chart-oriented standard techno (aka "Uz-Uz") can be generated.

The result was five minutes of drumbox playing in combination with a speech sample from a children's cartoon series. Then somehow the idea came up of combining this with a completely different style. The final result was ultimately 180bpm Jungle/Hardcore combined with a classical, somewhat re-transposed orchestra sample. Effect: "That sounds more interesting now."
