"The Fly" was developed by 7-year old David Hackl. It is a small flash animation showing a person eating a fly.

When my mom first told me about the competition, I had wanted to draw a picture. But then my dad showed me that by cutting and pasting, it was possible to make a real little film. I liked that a lot.
First I wanted to make a face with rolling eyes, but then I had the idea of the fly. Though it wasn’t all that easy to draw so many pictures. I also enjoyed recording the sounds and watching the final animation.
