HONORARY MENTION
Dual Mouse
Christoph Wiesner

The whole thing began because the mouse for my computer wasn’t working right. My brother and I tried to figure out how we could solve the problem. To test things, I took another mouse and plugged it into the computer. Somehow I forgot to unplug the old mouse and so it was possible to move the cursor with both mice. After a while we were each holding on to a mouse and trying to control the cursor. Since we each wanted to move toward something different, my brother and I were soon quarreling. But then I had the idea to create a computer game for two mice. I was just learning how to use Macromedia Flash MX and this was an opportunity to make the game with it.

Little by little the following game emerged: Two players control two mice which are connected to one computer. The game is about trying to move your mouse toward a button (green or blue) and clicking on it. Whoever is first to click on his button ten times wins that level. The entire game consists of three levels and the buttons are set up differently on each of them. It is important to use your opponent’s movements to reach your button and then to click on it. The player who wins the most levels wins the whole game.
