HONORARY MENTION
Memory
Ondrej Pokorny
My Memory game has two parts: the application and a playing board. The programme is only designed to print out sheets for the Memory playing board. I designed the software myself; my father, the board. The application was programmed in Delphi and Freeware.
There are three Memory modifications: Memory—the Game: in this version photos are inserted in pairs. Memory—Association Game: individual pictures are inserted in this version. This means that, for instance, a fork and knife or German and English vocabulary can be arranged in pairs. Dalli Click A4—here the players only have to guess what is in a picture (printed to cover an entire page in A4 format).
After selecting a programme modification, you can put together your own game. Either you use the Gallery (it contains more than 6700 images) or your own photos and pictures in JPEG format. You can combine images from the Gallery with photos and texts of your own—in this way you can make learning vocabulary (e.g. for English) or letters and spelling for children more exciting. The images can be moved about on a sheet by dragging and dropping one image over another or clicking the “Redistribute” button.
