DISTINCTION
Python Tutorial
Alexander Grasser, Leonhard Hauptfeld , Chen Wang

At “Profi Kids”, a Viennese computer club, Alexander “Lexi” Grasser, Leonhard “Leo” Hauptfeld and Chen Wang produced three different tutorials for Python, a software programming language.

Once a week for an hour, the three boys go to “Profi Kids” computer club to learn more about Python from Horst Jens. In these short videos, which were made with Screencast, they present what they have learned and developed in the form of tutorials: Chen demonstrates how Python can be used to define a function with Rurple; Lexi uses Python in combination with Easygui; and Leo tells us more about the help function in relation to a button box.

In their introductions, the three boys explain the content of their work to each other using Intelligent Design software, and in doing so display true acting skills. Lexi, Leo and Chen also had the ideas for the various stunts and the OpenOffice animations (“flying type”) in the credits.
