HONORARY MENTION
Paf, le moustique
Jean François Bourrel, Jérôme Calvet
It is evening among the rooftops of Paris. A man chewing gum, lost completely in his music, captures the attention of a music-loving mosquito. An explosive encounter.
This short film was created in six months. It was produced entirely by Jean-François Bourrel and Jérôme Calvet, who also co-directed it. It was made with Maya 2.0 NT on two PCs, which were supported during the final two months by three other PCs, one of which was an SGI. The main character in this little story is an exact copy of Jérôme, and the room where it takes place is none other than a copy of Jérôme’s room. The apartment and the house are where the three of us live. (Kisses to Souziac! She is the third.) So now you know everything, there are no more secrets ... or rather just one more: the logo for Paf, le moustique is by Christophe Delamare.
