The piston of an 8-cylinder,the primeval power of combustion, and the mystic force of fire are symbolized with eight plasma screens arranged above one another in two rows.

Ten years of the turbo diesel engine, Audi's achievement, are presented in a video and sound installation in the form of a moving poster pillar. The drum is arranged with 3x8 plasma screens in a circle, resulting in 24 plasma screens set up like a poster pillar. The scenes were composed in such a way that the fire, filmed at a certain speed (300 frames per second and above), results with each respective symmetrical mirroring in a broad range of fire figures. These vary from demonic fire-faces to harmonious shapes. The power of the fire and the harmonious course of the piston are underscored by the surround-cinema experience of the sound design. Certain terms were interwoven into the contents of the film: primeval power; acceleration; range; performance, 10 years of TDI.
