My robot may best be described as a self-steering device. It is constructed so that it can move around a defined area or find a defined goal completely independently in any space, while avoiding obstacles and seeking the best route. To do so, the robot has a microprocessor as a "brain." This receives the information about possible obstacles from several sensors, processes this information and steers the drive accordingly.
I am continuously improving my robot with regard to the quality of the sensors. Soon it should be able to perform a simple task, vacuum cleaning in my case, in permanent operation with no maintenance. In addition, I want to enhance my robot with an automatic charging station, so that it can charge its own batteries.
