The 1992 Prix Ars Electronica included four categories once again. In the Computer Graphics category, 350 artists submitted a total of 880 works; in Computer Animation, 140 works were entered by 114 artists. After a one-year hiatus, the reinstated Computer Music category received 350 submissions for the jury’s consideration. In the Interactive Art category, jurors were pleasantly surprised by the growing number of entries by artists from non-Western countries.
